Compensations Regarding Player rollbacks

Attention WonderKing Players

Due to an unfortunate event which happened yesterday, some players have experienced rollback problems. We do apologize for what happened and we are trying to fix everyone's accounts back to their pre-rolled back state.

With this, we have posted a thread in the forums wherein players could post in their rollback issues so we could tend to them as fast as possible.

As an addition, we shall be holding compensations for everyone, especially to those who were affected by the incident so all of us could get back on track.

This weekend, we shall be holding a 120% experience rate gain and 130% drop rate gain to the whole server! We shall be launching the event tomorrow at 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, and continue on from 8:00 PM until 12:00 Midnight! That's not all, we shall also be having this event again on Sunday, also from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight! So that's four times the event during this weekend!

Want more? We shall also be giving out zed pouch drops starting today at 5:00PM until Monday at 12:00 Noon! All monsters in Esiore have a chance of dropping a Zed Pouch containing 10,000 Zed each!

And finally, all players who have reported their rollback situations shall receive a free Gold Pickaxe usable for seven days! And to give an extra, we shall also throw in free Stat and Skill Resets for all those who reported!

Update March 5, 2010

Ok, the level cap has been raised, and the npcs have their speeches back. Sorry we cannot fix everything at the same time, some bugs are difficult to fix. The skills have their names ready by now, I spent almost overnight working for those skill names, that’s ready, just have to wait for the next patch for it to be installed. The other bugs were also submitted already since last week, devs are now working to do fixes for that part. Little by little, we shall eventually have a full 100% WonderKing. Ok, we’re done with that part, now time for other news.

You’ve seen the post about the 200% experience. That’s right; there will be a 200% experience gain later at 5:00 P.M. Now you’re just about to experience the first part. Well, a player named enzo talked to me last Tuesday regarding on when the Path to 1000 reward will be. He also appealed to lengthen the 300% experience to 4 hours instead of two. I made a deal with him that I will extend the 300% experience IF he has gained at least 200 votes from players in the forums and in our fan page. Sadly, today’s Friday, and they did not manage to reach that 200 vote mark. Well tough luck, but I am too kind enough to give you all a chance. So here’s my final verdict: The 300% experience will last for three hours, just for giving a consolation for those who voted.

So guess what? You already have a 200% experience event today, and tomorrow, you will have 300% experience gain! The exp event today will start at 5PM to 8PM (3 hours). And tomorrow, the 300% will be starting from 7 PM to 10 PM! Now you have reasons why you are not going out on a date with your girlfriends / boyfriends :lol:!

And oh, by the way, we shall automatically set all those experience events so there will be no preliminary announcements before the start of the event. So you guys better make sure you are already logged on before the event starts! Adikan mode na! Happy weekend everyone!

Prizes Handout Today

We already handed out most of the prizes of the winners of all events. There are still some winners who haven’t logged in and made their first avatars yet, so we shall give you guys up until Friday to log-in to the game. We cannot send your prizes unless you have created your first characters. Prizes not claimed until Friday will get forfeited.

Event winners (Friendster, Slogan, CBT Rewards, Loyalty Awards, Show Your Gear) who have already created their first characters, we already sent your prizes. You may retrieve your prizes in your gift box. We are still waiting for others to create their first characters in-game!

We also would like to announce that we gave Enzo Santos a special reward for helping us out by uploading a filefront mirror of the WonderKing Client. Without his help, we would not be able to start Open Beta yesterday.

Guild Masters: Chatrooms for your Guild

Attention Guild Masters

As we prepare for Open Beta, we would like to inform players who plan on creating their guild in WonderKing Online that we would like to increase your interactivity among your members. With this, we would like to feel your early presence and give you a private chat room for your guild. Features added for your room are as follows:

1. 3 Officer Accounts (1 guild master, 2 guild officers)
2. Desktop program that you could use to connect to your chat room + easy messaging to the [GM]s (direct private message)
3. Of course, your guild’s very own chat room, complete with a url access code to be given to your members. What’s more, you can embed your chat room into any site (or your guild site if you have one).


In order for you to get your own guild room, you must provide the following:

1. Your guild’s name
2. The Guild Master’s account details (your chat username, password, IGN and e-mail. This should be different from your WKPH account details (you can change your password later))
3. Your officers’ account details (same as above (2 officers))


The messenger program shall also serve as your guild’s direct communication to WK [GM]s. Please do not abuse this feature as we shall block your access once your usage becomes abusive.

Your chat room will be live as long as your guild is using it. You may request to edit you guild room’s name and access anytime, just notify the [GM]s about your requests and we’ll do it for you.

P.S. This free chat room is optional. you may choose to have your own chat room or not for your guild.

A reminder: please uninstall other WonderKing Online clients (including NDoors WonderKing Client) before installing as this may cause errors when launching WKPH. The cause is already known and the developers are currently working on it. Please perform a clean uninstall and delete the folders and files left after uninstalling the other clients. Also may we remind you to clean up your temporary files after installing WonderKing Online.

Challenge 2 Conclusion

Hmm… It’s funny to think that we got a lot of entries during challenge 1 but for this challenge, we did not even get up to 10 entries. Is the challenge hard? Or everyone is busy getting Beta keys in Facebook? (which happens to have around 10 keys left for reservation). Okay, let’s wrap up Challenge 2 so I can brew up a new challenge (still quite puzzled about the result though :lol:)

I was thinking of posting the winners’ entries, but some entries are long, and would probably take up a lot of space. So I shall just list the winners of this challenge.

Since I still have 72 keys to go, I’ll keep the Challenge in “on hold” status first and let the players enjoy the Facebook giveaway. Once all keys in Facebook are depleted, then I’ll start another challenge *teehee*

Event!!!! Catch the W Logo!!!!

Okay, you’ve heard the news. There are 500 Beta keys up for grabs, now I think that 500 are more than enough to start the Closed Beta Phase. Now let’s break it down first. Those 500 keys will be divided into 5 groups: 100 for the forums, 100 for Facebook, 100 for Friendster, and I have 100 of my own to give away which I will use here in the blog. The other 100, well, it is reserved for I-café owners in ULOP so they could also test WKPH (If you are an I-café owner and a member of ULOP, just logon to ULOP’s site and post at the thread provided or PM me inside ULOP’s forums).

So let’s see, some are already requesting for a challenge here in the blog. I was actually thinking of starting this one next week, but since some are requesting for it, I’ll give out the first challenge already.

As you know, playing online games are not that easy, you also got to have some skills (naks, as if playing is a sport!). One specific skill that I would like to test among you guys is being alert. Yes, this is needed for online games, especially in PVP. Now to test that, I want you guys to find this logo:

Now, save this picture, find just one logo, encircle it using any of your image editing program (paint will do), and e-mail it to me to my personal e-mail address (erik.cordero@live.com) with the subject: "Beta Key Challenge 1". Now don’t try to cheat and place another logo on the picture, I have my own cheat sheet here so I know where I placed all of the logos. There are 9 logos in there but I only require you guys to find one. Easy? Well, that’s the easy part.
