WonderKing Clent Solutions

For those who are still experiencing difficulty on their game clients, This is another suggestions to solve this problem. We hope this can help

1. Uninstall any wonderking version(s) in this computer. If you had nDoor's Wonderking, uninstall it.

2. Clean your temporary files and folder. You can use ccleaner as such that deletes these files. Computers running windows have a tendency of installation failures especially if the user had a lot of install/uninstall of programs.

3. After you had accomplished step 2, restart your computer.

4. Check if your drivers like vga are updated. Also update your directx to the latest.

5. Defrag your disk. We had cases of which a player couldn't install wkph and it was only when he/she defragmented his/her disk then the installation was a success.

5. Restart your computer.

6. Download. And Install wonderKing PH in an Administrator account. Make sure to install it as "Run as Administrator"

7. Execute the WKph client. in this step, the client should patch your WKph to the latest.

Now if at this point if you still can't connect. First thing first follow the instructions above without skipping any steps.

Check your firewall if there is anything that is filtering your installed WKph from connecting to our server. If so add an exception for WonderKing PH.

How to purchase E-cash via Load Central

We have noticed inquiries of some players as some Load Central retailers are still not aware that WonderKing pins are already being sold via LC. So, while Load Central updates their website on the product code, we shall also post a How-To tutorial so you guys could inform other retailers on how to Top-up WK pins.


Step 1

Upon your purchase, inform the retailer on what top-up you want to buy and for how much. In case retailers are still not aware that there is already Wonderking E-cash on Load Central, inform them the product code: WKING. The retailer then keys in your purchase to be sent to Load Central Number. You should also provide them your mobile phone number as they will send your pin as a text message.

As an example below, this would be the retailer’s format in sending the purchase to LC:



*You may only purchase E-cash depending on the following denominations:
20 E-cash
50 E-cash
100 E-cash
200 E-cash
500 E-cash


Step 2

Once the message has been sent, the retailer should receive a confirmation message that they have received the request and included is the Trace number if in case the pin did not reach your mobile phone.



At the same time you shall also receive a message containing your E-cash details (your card number and pin) which you can use to top-up WonderKing.



Just in case that retailers still are not aware of our partnership with Load Central, inform them of this tutorial, and don’t forget to inform them the product code WKING!

Update: January 14, 2010 – Registration How To

The registrations are now open (as you can see, it is already working), but some players are having a hard time with the registration process. So ok, I’ll make a sample image on how to register in the game.

Step 1
Register with your username, your nickname, and your password. Note that your nickname shall also be your forum name. Also, uppercase letters are not allowed in the registration (no Caps and special characters). Don’t forget to check the availability of your username and your nickname!



Step 2
Enter your e-mail address on the field provided. Note that your e-mail should be unique and is not yet registered (one account per e-mail only).



Step 3
Click on Check availability. If you see a message saying youremail@email.com is not available, then that e-mail is already used. If it says your e-mail is available, then you should proceed to step 4



Step 4
Check your e-mail using a new window (or a new tab, browser, whatever means just don’t close the registration form). You should see your e-mail confirmation already sent to you. Please also check your SPAM folder if the mail is not inside your inbox. The confirmation email should look like this:



Step 5
Once you got your confirmation number, copy it and paste it on your registration form. After that just input the other details needed and don’t forget to check the term agreement. Once you hit the submit button, It should take you back to the WK homepage. This means that your registration is successful and you can test it by logging in inside the web.




Additional info:
Whenever you log in into the website, you will be automatically be logged into the forums as well. So you don’t need to register for another account in the forums. Just login and you can have the forum access already. Logging out is also the same for this matter.

Note that the forum is not yet 100% working. You may experience syntax errors when you try to enter the forum. A simple resolution may be cleaning up your Temporary Internet Files and/or your Browsing History. Another resolution is to use another browser or try Google Chrome.

WonderKing PVP System

For Glory? For Fame? Or for the Gold? Whatever the reasons players may fight each other thru the Player vs Player (PvP) major patch update.



Most new MMORPGS only features Player Kill (PK) options enabled. While some features a Duel system for which players may invite (un)fortunate soul outside towns to a PvP combat. However in Wonderking Online, a PvP area known in game as Arenas is the only place which players may test their mettle.

Upon the start of the duel a Health Points GUI would appear directly on top of the character. Players may see each other’s Health and PvP combat would now begin. The objective is simple: Reduce your opponent’s Health to Zero before he reduces yours.



The PvP system would be available starting from the very first day of Open Beta this August. So sharpen your swords and polish your shield! Wonderking Online Philippines is coming in August. More information will follow as soon as testings are completed.

WK How To: Attendance

The attendance is one of the bonus features WonderKing is offering. This system gives out bonus items for players who play the game frequently.
The attendance icon can be seen just beside the hp and mp bars. The number indicated is the number of minutes left to be checked. You have to stay online for at least 1 hour to be checked for the game attendance.



Once the 1 hour has passed, the attendance icon will display “checked” signifying that you are already checked for attendance for that day.



To check how many days you have been checked, you may click the attendance button to go to the check card. You will see that in every five days that you play for at least an hour, you will be able to click the trade button to get a random reward.

WonderKing How To: Party

The party system in WK is very important since it allows you to venture with friends to go hunting, finishing quests and missions, etc. Players must form at least a group of 2-5 players to successfully create a party. Unlike other MMOs, WK is including a “party point system”, in which parties earn either cash or experience bonuses depending on the choice of the party leader.

To get a player near you join your party, all you have to do is right click on the character and click on the “add party” button. For friends or other players who are far from where you are located, use the Party Forums menu. This will help you get your friends to form a party even if you are far away from one another.

The Party Forums


This is what the Party forums look like. In here, you could add members to your party and you could also register your party for others to see.

How to Register:


1. Click the register button on the lower left side of the forum window



2. It will ask you to enter a message, the message you will place would be the title of your party



3. Once successful, a pop-up window will show saying that your registration is activated



4. Now all you have to do is hit on refresh and you will see your party in the forums



5. At the same time, you will see a party icon on top of your character’s name so that other players who are near you will see that you are looking for party members (clicking on the icon would directly go to your party forum’s post)

Now, once you have gathered members, you will see your party’s information (members’ levels, location etc.) via the shortcut key [G].





Party Point System

The party point system is a great feature in WonderKing. Players get to have extra bonuses while being in a party. The party leader has to decide whether if your party will have experience or Zed as an extra reward.
Upon the party leader’s invitation to a party, the leader will be asked the type of party that he wants to create, also included is the option of what bonus the party will receive.



After the party has been made, you will see the party’s basic information on the left side of your screen, included is the party point mark (starting count is 0)



Every time your party hunts, the party point will build up points. Now once the party has agreed to gather the payment (more than half of the party should agree), all they have to do is click the pay button. Don’t underestimate this feature because we tested it, and for just 5 points, we actually got 40 zed :lol:


Question: What if the party was disbanded?

Answer: if the party is disbanded without getting the pay, the accumulated pay will then be converted to experience. If there are three members and one member left, his share will be then converted to experience but his points will have deductions for penalty of leaving the party. The most recommended way to get the full party point is to accumulate the pay first before leaving the party.


Penalties for level Gaps

There are no level limitations in parties (happy are those who love to leech) but there is a penalty for those parties who have huge level gaps among their members (leechers’ hopes all gone!). the table below shows the acquisition percentage of each member if there are level gaps among their members. Note that all of these penalties apply to all members.



There is also a penalty if the monster you hunt has a huge level difference from your party’s average level. So you have to be careful on what monsters your party should hunt to avoid such penalties.



Additional Bonus

Additionally, parties can gain more if there are more members in the party and that all of the members are hunting on the same map.



The table above shows that you could gain more in a party as long as you avoid the penalties, giving you a faster way to earn more experience and money. Not bad for meeting new party mates!

Drool Pool: Character Classes Preview

Ok, you are already familiar about the four classes in WonderKing, and you already made up your mind on what class to choose. Well, we’re going to give you some things to think first before you actually finalize your decisions. Coming with this intro to the classes are some of the pictures of their weapons so you guys could get the idea on what weapons your characters might look like.

Swordsman – Ok, so obviously, swordies use swords. The only difference is, when you change jobs and chose a path to take. Now, there are two options when it comes to weapons, one hand and two hand weapons.






Thief – Thieves have a very low reputation in real life, but, in WK, we have to exaggerate it a little bit. I mean, how players could be scared of a thief if it doesn’t have wicked weapons. Also, with its two sub classes, the knave and ninja, you should be pretty sure that their weapons are not only for whacking and slashing, but for fashion as well.






Mage – Ah, the favorite of most ladies. Yep, most female players love to control wizards and healers. Now we know that these classes should have the highest form of fashion. Of course, isn’t it something if you whack a monster with a cool looking wand or staff? It’s an honor to be hit with one of those IMO!








Scout – The class which loves to avoid getting mobbed. Although they are usually seen at the back, you might get some serious decisions to do if you see their weapons. One look and you’d surely say that they could deal serious damage!







Now you see the weapons of each class. All of them are pretty good ain’t it? Now you decide which class you will choose!

Wonderking 101: The User Interface

Last time we talked about the basic controls of the game. Now we shall focus on the game’s UI or the user interface.

The user interface is actually the most essential part of a game, which practically serves as a guide for players in gaming adventures. In wonderking, the UI was designed to ensure easy access to most settings for those who are still not used to the keymap. A screenshot below will give you a sample on what to expect on the game’s interface.

As you can see, the interface of wonderking online was well thought of. Basically, all of these items are self-explanatory and doesn’t need further details. Also as an addition, whenever you are in town, and looking for an NPC, just hover your mouse pointer at the minimap to see the location of the npc. Other features, such as the attendance window, shall be discussed soon.

Wonderking 101: Basic Controls

A lot of you might get confused of the configuration of Wonderking Online. So to give you a heads up, we shall give you the basic controls to help you on your way.





Tips:

- If talking to an NPC (non-player character), you may execute the conversation by pressing spacebar or just by clicking him/her using the left mouse button.

- You can actually perform a double jump by pressing ALT twice.

- To increase you movement speed, you can buy a speed potion from the item NPCs, which could boost your movement for up to 300 seconds! Now that’s cool!
